This morning
Ang opened Leah’s blinds so they did not miss the opportunity to see the
recycle truck go by as the kids got dressed. During quiet time this afternoon,
the blinds were still open in Leah’s room. Leah has thought of all sorts of
great ways to get Ang’s attention during quiet time. The desire to use the
bathroom, show something she has found in her room that should not be there, or
ask an important question about the plans after quiet time.
Today she topped
all of these. She came out of her room, called Ang over and said, “There is a
bird outside of my window that is really scaring me.” Ang walked in, yelled at
any birds that were looming outside her window and told Leah things would be
okay. Those dang birds interrupting quiet time!
