A few months ago we started making up stories to tell Leah. We would ask Leah for an animal and a name. At first she was really creative. A dog named Sally, a raccoon named Mic, a giraffe named Giraffie, etc.
In the last month the creativity has diminished and we are stuck with a fish named Lightening McQueen. Ang does a really good job of rolling some kind of lesson or moral into the story like sharing, playing nice, making friends. I on the other hand have run out of ideas and just turn Lightening into different animals. Poof he is a lion or poof he is monkey. In any case, Leah is still in love with a fish named Lightening.
