A year ago Mimi and Charles got married. At the time Leah was just 2 years old and Evan was 3 weeks old. Ang was the matron of honor and Leah was the flower girl. We loved being a part of their happy day. Even though it was one of the longest days of our lives (Ang and mine).
In celebration of Mimi and Charles and the fact that we survived their big day, we went out to dinner tonight. Panera was the destination of choice. They cooked and the dishes were easy. No major meltdowns at the alter. No naps in cars. No nursing Ev every hour or so in a closet. No pushing Evan around in a church narthex for hours. No following the weddng party bus around West St. Paul. This year, June 4th was much easier in general. Good times. :)
