Gingerbread Man

When we were visiting Grandpa Kelly a few weeks ago, Pam told Leah the story of the Gingerbread man (GB man).  In this version, the GB man needs to cross a river.  The fox convinces the GB man that he does not want to eat him because he does not look tasty and that he would be happy to carry the GB man across the river on his nose.  The GB man agrees and jumps on the foxes nose.  In the middle of the river the fox flips the GB man into the air and then catches him in his mouth and eats him.

I retold this story to Leah at bedtime tonight.  At the end of the story Leah says.  "Daddy, I want to be a fox when I grow up".

That is my smart girl
