We made it to Highland Fest today. The key words there are "made it". We decided to drive and park at our house and then walk. Half-way there the epic breakdown began. Essentially, everything we asked or told her was given the same canned response "NO". Eventually she did calm down and rode on my shoulders to Panera to get some Lemonade.
We moved on to the kids area which was dominated by inflatable things. Here Leah, Ev, and Ang are all in a jumping Sesame Street inflatable.
After the epic breakdown, walking around in the heat, and bouncing up and down 20 minutes we were all pretty hungry. So we stopped off at LeAnn Chins for dinner. I can honestly say. I have never seen Leah and Evan eat so much. After that, everyone was good to go. All-in-all, great time had by all.
