Cinco de Mayo Run

So we thought it would be fun to sign up for the Cinco De Mayo fun run.  We signed Leah and Wyatt up for the quarter mile kid race.  We got them to the starting block.  The gun went off and the kids went running, all kids, except ours.  Not only did they not run but they both started crying and wanted to be held. 

Three things I learned from this.

1. I don't like spending $10 to make Leah cry.  (even if it is sort of funny)
2. I probably should haved explained the "ready, set, go, loud horn" to her before the race starts
3. A quarter mile run may be a bit much for a 3 year old.

Oh well, there is always next year.  :)
