Some mornings when Ev wakes up early he and I go downstairs to play. I try to keep him busy while I take a shower so Ang and Leah can sleep a few more minutes.
Historically I have put him in the hop-n-pop. Today I was feeling adventurous. So, I put the basement gate up, plopped him down in the bathroom with some toys and quickly jumped in the shower. I was singing and he seemed content. Needless to say, contentment did not last long. First it got eerily quiet. Apparently he carried all his toys out of the bathroom in protest. Then he broke his silence by doing his best lion impersonation while trying for find me. When he finally found me, he pulled the shower curtain open and let me have it. He actually stepped into the shower with me just as I was finishing up.
